Tyres were thrown from the side of a fast moving van in Brockham yesterday evening (November 30)The Brockham Emergency Response Team (BERT), a group of volunteers, was alerted to the waste when a resident contacted them after seeing the incident, which took place in Middle Street.Witnesses reported that the side door of the van was open and someone was throwing old tyres from the vehicle as it drove along Middle Street.BERT volunteer Isobel Heppenstall, of Nutwood Avenue in Brockham, said:…
