An elderly pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in Epsom town centre on Thursday, police have confirmed.Officers from Surrey Police were called to reports of a collision involving a blue VW Golf and a 94-year-old local man in Ashley Road at around 10.15am.The man was taken to hospital but died during the early hours of Friday morning, said Surrey Police.Eyewitness Darren Edwards said shortly after the accident: “I heard a thud and a scream.
