GIS Success!

Ben Siggery, an Outdoor Learning Officer at Nower Wood talks about the exciting new GIS programme for Year 5 to A Level students.

Ben Siggery is an Outdoor Learning Team member and has worked with the Trust for a year and a half. He is also studying for a masters in Aquatic Conservation at UCL. Ben has been a key part in helping the Outdoor Learning team make the most of their impressive new technology at Nower Wood Education Centre, which opened its brand new building in April last year.

He’s written about his experiences developing a new session teaching GIS to students ranging from Year 5 to A Level.
