Highways England officers are unable to reopen the M23 because there are more than 50 vehicles driving the wrong way down it, according to Surrey Police.The busy motorway was shut this morning to allow UK Power Networks engineers to repair a damaged overhead power line after it came crashing down onto the southbound carriageway.The road is currently shut northbound between J10 (Crawley)and J8 (M25), and southbound between J8 and J9 (Gatwick) for “safety reasons”.LATEST: Delays and…
