A bandage, which has the potential to detect infection early on by changing colour, is being tested in an East Grinstead hospital.A clinical trial of a smart bandage, which changes colour when a patient has an infection, has begun, using samples from burns patients at Queen Victoria Hospital.The trials, funded by the Medical Research Council, are being conducted at three other UK hospitals - Southmead Hospital Bristol, Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.The…
